4.5lbs off :)

So the no unhealthy snacks thing is really paying off.  I lost 4.5lbs this week yay :)

I am now set for another week of no unhealthy snacking and am hoping to get the next 3.5lbs off this week to reach my first mini goal HOWEVER I am not gonna be too hard on myself if I don’t manage it cuz I know the weight loss will start slowing down as my body adjusts over the next week or 2.

I am feeling really positive about this cuz this is the 1st time I have EVER voluntarily gone without bad snacking on a slimming plan. The only time I lost weight through no snacks before was a few years back when I was so wrapped up in chatting with my online friend (who is now my boyfriend of 3 and a bit years {and we do see each other in person now haha} ) that I lost about 2.5 stone (35lbs), and of course as soon as we got comfortable and I made friends at college and felt happy and started indulging again the weight piled on.

Anyway point being that I feel more positive right now than I have through these many months/years really of trying to lose weight.

And HOW STRONG am I?! I work in a petrol station and the till I work at faces the crisps and chocolate aisle. I have to look at the stuff for 8 bloody hrs each shift! That is 16hrs a week staring at unhealthy, delicious food lol. That has been 1 of my problems lately! The lady I work with on sat mornings never has breakfast before she goes so was having a chocolate bar so I would get 1 too even though I had had a bit of cereal at home, and then when she was in the back and we were quiet I would generally have another 1 aswell! and wed nights I used to have a packet of crisps, 1 of their calorific sandwiches or pasta salads for dinner and a chocolate bar of some sort, sometimes 2.

So that new bad habit has been broken also lol.

I think I am a VERY good example of how no matter how terribly you feel you are doing, you WILL get there as long as you don’t give up!! Despite my good weight loss this week I am still only 10.5lbs down from what I was in FEBRUARY so it just goes to show you no matter where you hit your struggles - at the beginning, in the middle or at the end, you will eventually get in the right frame of mind so keep pushing on buddies! x
