I missed my weigh-in cuz it was my mum and dad’s silver wedding anniversary on the wed and we were having a take away (I know naughty but hey it was a special occassion!) and I had to work late on the wed so yeah we had it on thurs instead. I do think I lost weight though from my weigh-in before that because although our new scales are still a couple of lbs different to the 1 at the meeting they are consistent and did show a loss. I thought missing the weigh-in might be a mistake but it hasn’t really affected me this week to be honest. Although I haven’t stuck rigidly to the plan and sorted my points out properly, I think I have made sensible choices and am preferring eating better now! so all is going pretty well.

I do apologise yet again for my absence lol but I FINALLY GOT A JOB (as you prob guessed from my last paragraph). I have been looking for some part time work  for bloody ages now, and a place came up at my local petrol station after a friend of mine handed her resignation in as she is off to uni. So my dad put my name down for me and my mate put a good word in for me and I got the job woohoo!

I faced a bit of a dilemma when it came to the uniform situation though. When I turned up for my 1st shift the only size tops the manager had in was 12s (US so I was like ok there is no way I can fit into that lol. She asked what size I am and I said “usually” a size 18 (US 14). To be honest I am more like a 20 (16) which is what the dilemma was. So she asked me to fill in the official application form and make a note on the back of my uniform size and she would put the order in for me the next day. So I wrote on it “Size 18 if loose fitting, otherwise a size 20 might be best” hoping that she would send off for a size 20 just to be safe and that it would actually fit me when I arrived!

The uniform was waiting for me on this Sunday’s shift and it was a size 18 and I was thinking ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I just would NOT have been able to handle the embarrassment if it didn’t fit and I had to ask her to return it, especially cuz she seemed pretty keen to get me sorted soon as they send out these “mystery customers” sometimes who rate you on your hospitality etc and 1 of the requirements is the uniform. Anyway there was a button-up blouse/shirt and a polo shirt so I was thinking OK polo shirt is gonna be the best bet, I went to the bathroom and…… IT FIT yay! It is a little more snug that I usually like I will admit and I prob would be a little more comfortable in the next size up but it looks fine for now and seeing as I am back into my weight-loss it should fit better and better as the shifts go by! I think it is actually a good thing that it fits the way it does cuz I know now I canNOT go back to my original weight otherwise there is no way I will get out of having to ask for a new 1!

I’m back to uni in a couple of weeks too and only have 7hrs of classes too woo! I’m really just gonna use this year to sort everything out I now have cash coming in so I can get new clothes and shoes etc to feel better about myself and save some up which will be good, and my mum said when I get back into a comfortable size 18 she will take me shopping for some new clothes so yay things are looking up!
