Joined Weight Watchers
So we did it
me and my mum joined weight watchers tonight, and actually it looks pretty good. The bad news is I have put on 3 and a half lbs since my last weigh in 2 and a half weeks ago at slimming world BUT the important thing is that I am not giving up and I am using this gain as a positive. When I got out of the 16 stone (224lbs) region a few weeks back, I was SO happy and I vowed never to go back into the zone EVER again. and I have. So if I ever got a kick in the ass, seeing “16st 2lbs” (226lbs) on the scale was definitely it!
I think it will work better for me cuz I HAVE to take the time out to plan it properly and I have to spend time really looking at what I am eating. You still get a lot of choice though too.
So they have 2 plans you can choose from “the points plan” where you are allocated a points value based on a number of things such as weight, gender, age, activity level etc and mine is 26, but seeing as I WILL be back in the 15stone area next week I am gonna start on 25 (you minus 1 point each time you drop into a different stone). The core plan is basically you have 3 meals using foods on a “free” foods list and you eat until you are comfortably full then have 21 points a week to work with - or 3 points a day. I think the points one will prob work best for me, but the great thing is you can switch week to week to vary it a bit.
Anyway so goals:
In 2 weeks time, it is my 19th birthday so on that weigh in day I want to be 15stone 10lbs (220lbs) - my 1st mini goal, and 1 stone (14lbs) off my top weight. So I have 6lbs to lose, but I don’t think that will be a prob at all, especially if I start building up my exercise now.
So whole new plan, whole new start BUT I am 8lbs down from my top weight so that is a nice boost to begin this with.
I’m back, and ready to stay. This new start is just what I have been needing x
I hope weight watchers works well for you. It has done pretty good for me. I don’t attend the meetings but I think I would have done better if I did. I continue to use their points system to lose weight. It’s very helpful.
